The work permit

There are three types of work permits:

• Work permit A is for those who have worked in Belgium for at least four years during the last ten years with a work permit B.
• Work permit B is restricted to employment for one employer, and valid for a maximum of 1 year (but it can be prolonged).

• Work permit C is for foreigners who only have a temporary right of residence in Belgium.
