This is a diverse and challenging role within an international environment.To strengthen our Legal & Insurance team, we are looking for a Legal Counsel.As an in house counsel, you will be part of DB Schenker's Benelux legal team and report to the Head of Risk Management Benelux.Your ResponsibilitiesDrafting and reviewing various contracts (customer contracts, lease agreements, and procurement contracts) and general terms and conditions related to transport and logistics, ensuring accuracy, risk assessment, and impact analysis for the organization.Negotiating contract modifications with internal and external parties.Providing legal and insurance related advice to various Business Units (Land, Air, Ocean, Fairs, and Contract Logistics) on all legal aspects within logistics services, including transport law, lease law, purchase law, corporate law, and commercial law.Assessing cases for legal feasibility and advising the Management Board on various complex legal matters, including Corporate Governance and Corporate Restructuring.Supporting other corporate departments such as Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Human Resources, Customs, and Claims in complying with relevant legislation and regulations.Advising internal and external clients on liability within the logistics sector and the corresponding insurance coverage, in collaboration with the head office when necessary.Enhancing legal knowledge and ameliorating legal efficiency within the company.Acting as the main contact person for all communication regarding legal disputes (liaising with bailiffs, law firms, etc.), managing or coordinating litigation, and appointing external lawyers when needed.While you will have significant autonomy in your role, you will work closely with the Supervisor Legal & Insurance Benelux.You participate in projects for the legal or insurance topics

Our client is an international company headquartered in the Antwerpen region with over 30 years of experience at the international scale.They are looking for an IT Manager acting as a primary stakeholder in project coordination (applications and infrastructure) as well as technologies related to SAP within the company.

The IT Manager is a key stakeholder in project coordination concerning all IT-related matters within the company.This individual will collaborate with internal business stakeholders and external support partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.The role requires a business-focused expert who can advocate for user needs and take the necessary actions for planning and support.

Key responsibilities:

Business System Support:

  • Act as a super-user and system expert for SAP (ERP), specifically for the S4Hana and Coupa modules (with 80% of the projects being finance-related).
  • Understand the architecture and process flows of ERP, Process Control, and related manufacturing systems
  • Monitor system health and stability.
  • Troubleshoot and address system issues, outages, and functional needs, engaging support partners as needed
  • Support business users as a subject matter expert on existing and proposed system functionality
  • Act as program manager and project stakeholder for system upgrades and enhancements



End User Support:

  • Act as the first responder for user desktop issues (hardware and software), engaging the help desk and support partners as needed.
  • Facilitate requests for purchases.
  • Observe and anticipate user needs, and make appropriate recommendations for improvement.



Infrastructure, Process and Policy:

  • Assist users in understanding IT Policy, Process, and Systems.
  • Support business leadership in strategic planning and project oversight.
  • Coordinate site activities for upgrades and system maintenance.
  • Make recommendations for enhancements that will improve system function, capabilities, and stability.
