Je begeleidt kinderen tussen 6 en 13 jaar met autisme.Als begeleider sta je in voor het ondersteunen van de kinderen in hun ontwikkeling en leerproces en help je hen bij het ontwikkelen van sociale en communicatieve vaardigheden.Je werkt nauw samen met andere professionals en ouders.Het betreft zowel individuele als groepsbegeleidingen (max 4)

Je staat in voor de begeleiding en ondersteuning van de ouders en/of opvoedingsverantwoordelijken van de ons toevertrouwde jongeren in een residentiële leefgroep van jongeren tot 12 jaar.

Je zorgt er – samen met de individuele begeleid(st)er en met ondersteuning van de pedagoge – voor dat de wederzijdse noden en verwachtingen van het thuis- en/of contextmilieu en de individuele jongere zo veel mogelijk op mekaar afgestemd worden.

Je doet dit vanuit een goed evenwicht tussen afstand en nabijheid en vanuit een houding van meerzijdige partijdigheid.Het belang van de geplaatste jongere staat hierbij steeds centraal.

We are looking for an experienced temporary part time teacher to teach within our Art, Design and Technology Faculty.The successful candidate will be qualified to teach one of the subject specialisms within the faculty, and may provide the flexibility to offer more than one subject.

The Faculty

The Art, Design and Technology (DT) Faculty at BSB is newly formed and combines the departments, Art and Design, DT:Product Design and DT:Textiles.It is built on the foundation of a long history of exceptional outcomes for our students in these subject areas.The faculty teaches all years across Key stage 3,4 and 5 (Years 7-13).

The successful applicant will:

• be willing to take an active part in school trips, both residential and day visits;
