Currently, they are looking for a Data Officer to act as a bridge between the business and IT.

Responsibilities: 

• Be the main point of contact for all data-related matters such as data architecture, databases, and BI reports within your preferred domains.

• Independently define and lead data-related change requests (with multiple stakeholders and contributors).

• Identify new opportunities to improve data management, data consumption, and service delivery.

• Define use cases for data products (e.g., databases, BI reports) and explain how they contribute to tangible benefits for the business and its users.

Your Function
As an Associate Scientist within CRS, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing analysis to support product characterization, method qualification/validation, release, and stability testing, with a main focus on liquid chromatography.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory regulations, analytical methods and specifications, GMP standards, and safety guidelines.
• Evaluating scientific data generated during testing to ensure accurate results.

Research and Development

• Research new formulation approaches and innovative technologies for adjuvants, bio-stimulants, and bio-crop protection products.
• Design and execute experiments to develop robust formulations for various products.
• Design and conduct Stability Studies and Product Testing Procedures to ensure formulations meet commercial criteria.Key evaluations include efficacy, microbial stability, p.H measurements, physical properties (viscosity, dispersion, particle size, emulsion/suspension, etc.), compatibility testing (container, tank mix, etc.), and ASTM methods.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to formulations and sustainable practices.

Product Support

• Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure successful product development.
• Provide technical support to the Product Development organization.
• Participate in the technical transfer of formulation processes to contract manufacturing facilities, including site visits.
• Contribute to patent applications.

Laboratory Management

• Plan and manage resources, materials, and logistics required to conduct formulation development activities.
• Analyse data, interpret results, and provide recommendations for target and formulation improvements.
• Assemble and maintain testing and formulation equipment.
• Prepare laboratory notebooks, technical reports, summaries, protocols, and methods for the development of adjuvants, bio-stimulants, and biopesticides.

Je coördineert eveneens op remote basis de R&D-activiteiten binnen jouw productgroep in de internationale dochterfirma's.
• Je implementeert de R&D strategie en organiseert de dagelijkse activiteiten in functie van de veranderende prioriteiten.Je voorziet een nauwgezette opvolging en rapportering van de lopende projecten en waakt zo over het behalen van de business objectieven.
• Je coacht je team zowel op technisch vlak alsook in hun persoonlijke ontwikkeling.Je ondersteunt hen in het bepalen en behalen van hun objectieven en wijst hen op hun verantwoordelijkheden.
