• Als Senior Electrical Engineer kun je een gevarieerd en uitdagend takenpakket verwachten:
• Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, produceren en valideren van plannen en schema's voor elektrische installaties, voornamelijk voor openbaarvervoersbedrijven.
• Je ontwerpt, ontwikkelt en test elektrische apparatuur en systemen en bepaalt het elektrisch concept op basis van functionele eisen
• je stelt volledige kastontwerpen op en voert elektrische studies uit in nauwe samenwerking met de Project Engineers
• Je werkt samen met de arbeiders in onze werkplaats in Asse: je houdt toezicht op de productie, installatie en het testen van elektrische apparatuur en systemen, en bewaakt de kwaliteitscontrole
• Opstellen en beoordelen van technische documenten, specificaties en instructies
• Je geeft technisch advies aan junior ingenieurs en houdt toezicht op de elektrische schema's van collega's en onderaannemers.
• Je staat aan de basis van technische oplossingen op elektrotechnisch gebied, van ontwerp tot eindtesten, waarbij je toeziet op kwaliteit en naleving.

Main objectives

• Support or Lead engineering projects at any manufacturing line
• Support, initiate, deploy and sign off process improvement and efficiency improvement modifications to manufacturing systems at insulated panel lines and single skin lines
• To carry out design and testing tasks on project proposals
• Assist the local site engineering and production department with any major breakdowns or faults at short notice

Main responsibilities of the role

• To carry out specific engineering tasks delegated to him by the Group senior controls Engineer as appropriate
• Provide software/electrical engineering discipline input into divisional project/design teams executing specific projects on site
• Produce electrical engineering design and project support deliverables in line with Kingspan engineering standards

• To support the local sites manufacturing process by being proactive on the correction and modification of reoccurring machine processing faults
• In case of modifications on machinery, assure the correct safety performance level of the installation according to the CE machinery regulations.
