Your day as a Project Engineer on site is filled with the following tasks:
- Planning and organising the work by translating a technical Dossier into a execution-ready order/project by order of the customer
- Drawing up a planning, ordering tools and materials, Order preparation and follow-up of deliveries (also for correctness/completeness), Checking the availability of materials/people/machines and allocation, order allocation to the performers, systematic and technical follow-up of the status of the projects
- Safety takes precedence, so draw up task-risk analyses for the work to be carried out.You also ensure that the measures are applied
- Draw up work descriptions so that the work can be handed over clearly
- If necessary, hiring subcontractors, contacting customers/suppliers, requesting prices
- Logistical organisation of the site where your team is active
