Here’s a Summary of What the Job Entails: 
 With your extensive experience in finance, controlling and project management, you'll bring strategic and operational insights in technology as a value driver for Mediahuis’ Publishing business and all economical aspects of TPS as Mediahuis’ inhouse technology company Here are some key responsibilities:

  • Ensure Cost Efficiency and Business Value delivery: Continuously monitor the investments & costs of the inhouse technology company TPS in relation to the economic and strategic impact for the Publishing Business of Mediahuis, providing detailed insights on financial performance and proactively addressing potential risks and opportunities in alignment with Mediahuis' strategic goals.
  • Analyze Key Metrics: Evaluate and interpret financial and operational ratios to provide a clear perspective on our technology initiatives' economic impact.
  • Lead Planning and Reporting Processes: Coordinate recurring processes such as management reporting, budgeting exercises, forecasting, and target setting to align financial objectives with business goals.
  • Deliver Quality Reporting: Oversee the accuracy, relevance, and timely delivery of economic and performance reporting.
  • Drive Efficiency Projects: Lead various projects, focusing primarily on efficiency improvements and actively contribute to the growth of our technology-driven initiatives.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Lead the technology controlling team in Belgium and work closely with several other financial teams like our Accounting Shared Services Center (ASSC).
  • Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management: Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, dedicating significant time to collaborating with the technology department and leadership teams.
  • Support Technology Leadership Team: As a member of the technology management team, you’ll work directly with the CEO of Technology and provide financial insights that support the entire leadership team.

    • Policy and Procedure Development: Establish and refine compliance policies, create monitoring tools, and implement procedures to ensure the accurate and ongoing classification of technologies.

    • IT Requirements and Standards: Define and implement IT requirements and "Golden Rules" to support trade compliance efforts, ensuring systems and processes are optimized for regulatory adherence.

    • Drive Innovation in Compliance Practices: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in technology classification and compliance, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of regulatory excellence.

    This role is integral to protecting the organization's intellectual property, maintaining regulatory compliance, and enabling the successful delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions to global customers.

Bij SERIS Technology, één van de grootste en technologisch meest geavanceerde bedrijven in de beveiligingssector, zoeken we een gedreven HR Business Partner (HRBP).SERIS Technology is gespecialiseerd in de conceptie, installatie en het onderhoud van beveiligingssystemen (inbraakdetectie, toegangscontrole, brandbeveiliging, camerabewaking, etc.) en telt zo'n 160 werknemers.Naast je focus op SERIS Technology, zal je ook enkele taken uitvoeren voor andere afdelingen binnen de SERIS Groep (zoals Security, Academy en Logistics).

In deze rol rapporteer je rechtstreeks aan de HR Director en ondersteun je de Managing Director van SERIS Technology.Je bent een sleutelfiguur in zowel strategische als operationele HR-projecten en zorgt voor een vlotte samenwerking tussen het HR-team en de lokale stakeholders.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Het ontwikkelen en implementeren van HR-beleid en programma’s, zowel binnen de “soft” als de “hard” HR domeinen, met een nadruk op Comp&Ben, het opzetten van een functiehuis, bijwerken en uitrollen van functieclassificaties en -beschrijvingen.
  • Fungeren als een brug tussen het centrale HR-team en de afdelingen van SERIS Technology om HR-behoeften te identificeren en aan te pakken.
  • Samen met Talent Acquisition en Payroll, een actief talentmanagementbeleid opzetten om talent aan te trekken, te behouden en te motiveren.
  • Het optimaliseren van bestaande HR-processen en het implementeren van nieuwe procedures.
  • Bijdragen aan de sociale dialoog met de vakbonden en proactief de arbeidskosten optimaliseren door veranderingen in de sociale wetgeving op te volgen.
  • Sparringpartner en vertrouwenspersoon voor de HR Director bij complexe beslissingen.
