  • You are in charge of conducting internal controls and audits to verify the implementation of the compliance programs in all our entities worldwide related to ethics (including anti corruption / human rights), data protection and corporate governance;

  • You develop and manage working relationships with key stakeholders;
  • You propose an annually internal control and audit program of processes and controls reviews, made to give reasonable assurance of the quality of the self-assessments made by the Business Process Owners (BPOs);

Within the Business Service Management (BSM) team of our Operations department, you are responsible for maintaining the transition, operations and continuous improvement of the service levels and KPIs from the Security services in the SNCB/NMBS organisation (including its subsidiaries) so as to adequately protect the company resources.

Responsibilities :

  • Governance, Policies & Access
    • Focus on our relationship with NMBS/SNCB Business with strong demand management (availability, recovery and failure prevention)
    • Information is to be visible or disclosed to only those people who have the necessary clearance and have the right to know
    • Information/data is to be complete, accurate and has complete protection against modification by unauthorized personnel
    • The business transactions and exchange of information between enterprises or partners are trustworthy
  • Coordination & Management
    • Ensure the operational service coordination and control of all the programs and initiatives within the BSM , with the CISO teams and with the suppliers (priorities, budgets, people management).
    • Align within the Cyber- & Information Security Office and other departments, such as Data Protection, IT Risk Management and Cybersecurity Management as far as priorities, interactions and improvement initiatives are concerned.
    • Closely cooperate with IT PMO and other IT departments in view of aligning its processes with existing IT and ITIL processes.
  • Reporting
    • Monthly program management reports within BSM and towards Operations and Businesses regarding the IT security programs

The job:

As a Functional Analyst (m,w,x) you represent the client in the product team and you tune in with all stakeholders.

You are end-to-end responsible for the user stories: writing and validation in collaboration with client and/or product manager, acting as SPOC for the developers in the team and validation/testing once developed.

You want.

  • To map the functional requirements in order to fully understand the customer’s needs ;
  • To write the high level analysis with the appropriate level of details;
  • To prepare the user stories (= detailed analysis) ;
  • To facilitate estimation and planning sessions together with the IT product lead ;
  • To function as SPOC for all functional questions during the development process and being the bridge between the customer and the IT product team ;
  • To validate development by testing the functionalities as written in the user stories on behalf of the customer’s needs ;
  • To assure common understanding and sharing of information with the complete IT product team on a daily basis.
You have.
  • Preferably a Master Degree or equivalent by experience in IT related domain;
  • +2 years experience in functional/technical analysis;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ;
  • Negotiating skills, ability to drive constructive discussions and reach consensus ;
  • Being able to explain complex matters in an easy way ;
  • Ability to build a Data Protection Impact Assessment in the context of GDPR requirements;
  • Practical knowledge of UML/BPMN;
  • Proven practice of Agile Scrum/Kanban;
  • Mastering tools as Jira, Confluence, Enterprise architect;
  • The ability to create a sense of urgency and an atmosphere of openness in which mistakes are admitted and problems are brought to the surface so that they can be solved asap ;
