What does your day look like as an Electrical Designer?

• You are responsible for designing and detailing electrical schematics.
• For this, you use Eplan as your drawing software.
• You create schematics, detail plans, assemblies and specifications.
• Based on the specifications and existing technical data, you take care of the basic calculations.
• You archive all schematics in the document management system, add articles and maintain the article database.
• In consultation with the engineers, you select the hardware and other electrotechnical components.
• You possibly follow up on projects and participate in meetings concerning the installation of the technical infrastructure.
• You check whether the electrical installations on site correspond to the diagrams drawn.
• In case of imperfections, you make the necessary measurements and adjust where necessary.

Voor onze klant te Lommel, gespecialiseerd in bouwmaterialen, zijn we op zoek naar een Tekenaar (Electrical Engineer). 

• Als Electrical / Automation Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het maken van kleine installaties en borden.
• Ook op vlak van automatisatie ben je verantwoordelijk voor het opmaken, ontwerpen en implementeren van software en hardware.
• De voornaamste taken zijn de bewaking van de elektrische installaties aan de machines (conform maken/houden met wetgeving) en het automatiseren van nieuwe installaties en PLC en elektrische storingen oplossen aan bestaande installaties.PLC’s zijn logos, 1200 en 1500 types van Siemens.
• Naast het elektrisch - en programmeerwerk zal je ook instaan voor het opmaken en opvolgen van offertes, het opmaken van stuklijsten en P&ID’s en sta je ook regelmatig in contact met leveranciers en klanten.
• Je zorgt bovendien voor een tijdige bestelling van alle nodige materialen en bent bereid om indien nodig ook technisch bij te springen en de onderhoudsmensen in het atelier een handje te helpen.

Key result area 3 – Technical support  
✓ Provides the proper technical support and assistance to the Production and Maintenance teams on: 
Interventions on industrial equipment and software, like repairs, programming, modifications, e.g. 
Action plan related to KPIs targets and potential deviations. 
Parametrization of assembly and sequencing equipment in cooperation with Quality and Supply Chain. 
Training of local teams about relevant aspects of industrial process. 
✓ Compliance to group procedures and requirements within his/her area of responsibility. 
✓ In coordination with the Group IT department: development, implementation and maintaining of IT 
systems related to the industrial process like ERP, MES and Sequencing Software. 
✓ Root cause analysis on internal or customer incidents linked to the process (wrong data sent to the

The Process Engineer reports to the Manufacturing Manager of the plant. 
At Group level (matrix organization), the Process Engineer Plant functionally reports to the Group Production & 
Maintenance Manager, who in turn reports to the Head of Manufacturing & Innovation.
