Description

This is the duties of an Administrative Officer for Blood Samples:

  • You are responsible for the preparation and updates of all documentation related to the blood samples.
  • You are responsible for the production of production documents.
  • You carry out quality checks on the blood samples.
  • You carry out checks on the documents that release the blood samples.
  • You are a communication link between various internal departments.
  • You assist with audits if necessary.
  • You will interact with other departments for batch record information and documentation issues.
  • You take care of the status assessments and update the spreadsheets and reports.

For a stock listed biotech firm in Ghent we are looking for a Reporting Manager playing a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely external financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Reporting directly to the Group Controller, you will lead efforts in external regulatory filings with Belgian and US financial market regulators (including quarterly press releases, half-year reporting and annual reporting).

Additionally, you will oversee technical accounting activities related to complex and non-recurring transactions, ensuring adherence to accounting standards.Your responsibilities will also include executing, documenting, and updating internal controls associated with the reporting process and serving as a key liaison with external auditors.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Lead all external regulatory filings with Belgian and US financial market regulators, ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Oversee technical accounting efforts, providing guidance on complex transactions and maintaining adherence to accounting standards.
  • Execute, document, and update internal controls associated with the reporting process to ensure accuracy and reliability of financial information.
  • Serve as a key liaison with external auditors, facilitating financial audit and CSRD audit processes and addressing any audit-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams, including Investor Relations, Legal, Business Development and other stakeholders, to support reporting activities and address any reporting-related issues.
  • Play a critical role in the further build-out of external reporting capabilities and the automation of reporting processes, contributing to efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to organizational growth and increasing complexity.
  • Biotech experience is a plus but not a requirement
  • Fluency in English and the ability to operate cross-functionally are essential.
