Procurement: Understand the key tasks of our procurement team, including internal order registration, supplier interaction, and order follow-up.
Sales Interaction: Gain customer-facing experience by working with quotations, pricing strategies, CRM tools, and order management processes.
Your Development Goals: The program is structured to give you a broad overview of the supply chain ecosystem, helping you build foundational knowledge and practical skills.Under the guidance of your mentor, you'll work on developing your competencies and exploring potential career paths within the organization.

As an Application Manager you are responsible for Demand Management, Project Delivery and the Application Architecture of one or more business domains.

Demand Management

  • Serve as the primary IT contact for one or more business domains.
  • Align IT-related business requirements with the specific goals of stakeholders.
  • Propose IT solutions to address business requirements.
  • Initiate change requests and projects in collaboration with external partners.
  • Set priorities for requests and projects with business analysts.
  • Manage the project portfolio and prepare annual budget proposals.
  • Evaluate and compare implementation proposals from various IT providers.

Project Delivery

  • Track the progress and budget of change requests and projects within your domain.
  • Play a hands-on role in managing change requests and projects.
  • Act as a liaison between internal customers and IT partners.
  • Oversee issue resolution efforts, ensuring coordination between business units and support partners.

Application Architecture

  • Manage the application landscape in your domain.
  • Propose simplification and optimization aligned with the IT strategy.
  • Develop and guide the application and integration roadmap for Logistics & Supply Chain.
  • Ensure data flows meet data protection, security standards, and other non-functional requirements.
  • Collaborate with business process analysts to streamline business processes.
