The client is a small, growing electrical services company.The company specializes in residential and commercial electrical work, with a focus on quality service and client relationships.

The CEO is involved in daily operations and needs an Executive Assistant to help manage administrative tasks, support project scheduling, invoicing, and communication, allowing for more.

Description

  • Administrative Support:
    • Manage emails, respond to client requests, and handle internal communication.
    • Assist with the preparation and management of invoices, quotes, and billing.
    • Handle the encoding and tracking of data related to jobs and projects.
    • Oversee and update project and job schedules to ensure timely completion.
    • Manage supplier orders and track deliveries.
    • Assist with the scheduling and coordination of technicians' daily tasks and interventions.
  • Client Interaction and Support:
    • Respond to client intervention requests and manage job details.
    • Assist the CEO in maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Technical Understanding:
    • While not a hands-on technical role, understanding technical terms and project requirements will be essential for effective communication with technicians and clients.
    • Prepare reports on technical work and project statuses.

The Global Director Business Development (GBDM) provides leadership and coaching to the Business Development Managers and is responsible for the management of all business development activities of SGS Clinical Research, identifying and exploring strategic business development opportunities to maximize organization growth.

Together with the team the GBDM will ensure a continual development of current and future client accounts and will support in building up and strengthening the relationship with new clients and key accounts.

The GBDM works in close collaboration with the Contract Management, the Proposal Development and the Operational teams to ensure proper planning and progression of strategic projects, efficient establishment of cross-departmental communication lines and identification and development of improvement projects related to the BDM department and activities.There is a close collaboration with the Marketing team for all marketing related activities (conferences, webinars, targeted campaigns…) and follow up of all leads coming out of the marketing initiatives.

What does this mean?

  • management, supervision and coaching of the Business Development Managers/Account Managers
  • be accountable for the target realization of the sales and business development activities for Clinical Research
  • support in building up and strengthening the relationship with new and key clients
  • with your extensive knowledge of current market evolutions and conditions you will be responsible for the growth of our Clinical Research Business with both new and existing customers, with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • network actively to identify new opportunities in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry and establish key relationships
  • negotiate and close business deals
  • build strong relationships with the internal functional departments and maintain in depth knowledge of their services in order to support lateral business opportunities
  • represent customer needs to internal functional departments and follow up on the proposal and contract development process
  • further develop and maintain the CRM database
