Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance at all times to regulations.This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government
regulations or customer policies / requirements.
- Interact with customs authorities to address any issues/questions that may arise during the clearing process and act as a liaison between customs authorities (or other government agencies) and customers.
- Key all air, ocean and truck files according to KPI and customer requirements in compliance with all rules and regulations.
- Release (Licensed Broker Only) all air, ocean, and truck files according to KPI and customer requirements in compliance with all rules and regulations
- Ensure billing team has necessary information to submit an accurate and complete invoice according to KPI
- Serve as the point of contact for assigned clients and ensure cohesion with all services
- Pro-active communication with customers regarding all aspects of their business
- Respond timely to emails and phone calls
- Update and monitor customer SOPs and ensure all interested parties understand proper procedures and processes
- Complete drawback process as requested
- Send reports according to customer requirements as outlined in SOP as requested
- Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency.
