Job description

As a reliable partner, our client offers renowned and innovative fungicides, herbicides, insecticides and growth regulators for agriculture and horticulture.Their products and services help farmers increase yields and optimize product quality.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the parent seed production operations for pre-basic and basic parental seeds required to meet the objectives and targets of the plan
  • Follow the quality management systems within parent seed production ensuring that seed meets internal and external quality parameters
  • Optimal use of resources with the aim of achieving all parent seed production goals and effective operation of the program which involves equipment maintenance, inventory and management of contractors and seasonal employees
  • Investigate and implement improvements to execution of plans by identifying issues and challenges facing production of pure parent seed and developing solutions to meet these challenges which may include issues with pollination, the agronomics of producing various parental lines
  • Act as a recognized role model with respect to ensuring the compliance standards (QMS, Health, Safety, Bio.Safety, Stewardship, …) in the area of responsibility.

Our client is a leading insurance company.They are looking for an IT Support Specialist to take part in the company's development. 

Based in Brussels, the IS Support Specialist is a second level support role with the responsibility of providing technical support to customers and operational and administrative support for IT functions. 

Your main responsibilities will include:
 

  • Providing world class customer service to their staff.
  • Execute the effective and timely delivery of IT services.
  • Interact effectively with all customer constituencies.
  • Maintain the operational availability of all computer related equipment and IT resources including laptops, desktops, printers, servers, data communication equipment, network infrastructure, telephone equipment and audio-visual systems.
  • Deploy computer and related equipment in a timely fashion to meet the day to day operational requirements.
  • Responsible for setting up, installing, operating, testing and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment, including setting up equipment used to enhance live events, such as laptops, projectors, screens and microphones.
  • Respond to conference room attendee technology requests and needs, and troubleshoots problems utilizing standard troubleshooting tools.
  • Perform effectively as a second level technical resource to resolve customer problems and provide technical leadership to other local IT resources.
  • Encourage and promote team work between local, regional, and Global Services IT resources.
  • Promote and maintain the effective utilization of Firm provided software applications by internal customer constituencies.
  • Participate as an active team member on IT projects to which assigned.
  • Interact with external vendors.
