Role & Responsibilities

As a Functional Analyst specializing in MS Dynamics 365 (HR/CRM), you will play a key role in understanding business needs, designing IT solutions, and supporting the successful delivery of projects.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Requirements Gathering:
    • Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs.
    • Document and prioritize requirements.
    • Provide technical feasibility and complexity assessments to guide decision-making.
  • Solution Design:
    • Work with other IT teams and external partners to recommend IT solutions that meet business needs.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis:
    • Evaluate the financial implications of proposed solutions to ensure their viability and benefits.
  • Solution Implementation:
    • Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
    • Support the technical team during development.
    • Ensure that the delivered solution meets all requirements through quality assurance practices.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee IT projects, ensuring they meet defined requirements, are on schedule, and are delivered with the desired outcome.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    • Serve as the primary communication link between stakeholders and the delivery team(s), ensuring alignment and transparency.
  • Documentation:
    • Create and update functional documentation to support ongoing operations (RUN activities).
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training and post-implementation support to users on new systems and processes.

 

Freelance Digital Business Analyst

Talen.Cia consulting is currently looking for a Digital Business Analyst for a renowned client based in Brussels.

Please note that this position has 60% of working on new functionalities and 40% of application support.

Tasks:

  • Compile business requirements, both functional and non-functional, for digital applications.
  • Determine and suggest ways to improve the business while using Agile/Scrum methodology
  • Conduct a functional examination of these specifications across the various application components.
  • Analysis of gaps.
  • Write User Stories or requirements based on the analysis; these will serve as the foundation for further grooming and refinement sessions.
  • Support the creation and implementation of test cases.
  • Assure accurate and thorough request and analysis documentation.
  • Ensure that the decisions made have business support.
  • Communication with senior IT technical designers, product owners, project managers, and IT architects.
  • Ensure that the prerequisites (designs, acceptance criteria, etc.) are delivered on schedule in order to ensure a successful sprint delivery.
  • Question the time and financial estimates that the implementation partners have provided.
  • Attend to user requirements, action items, meeting minutes, and project deliverables.
  • Make sure that we work well together with our outside partners for digital application development.

     

Application Support (40%):

  • Guarantee and enhance the stability of the applications by spearheading and monitoring pertinent measures to achieve stability enhancements, such as consistent communication with technical teams (security, architecture, infrastructure, etc.), tracking issues, and conducting root cause analysis.
  • To serve as the primary point of contact for all ongoing requests for assistance and to coordinate with the relevant teams.Work closely in tandem
  • Business User/Owner Application Support: For assigned apps, provide the fundamental analysis necessary to enable second and third tier application support.
  • Support the resolution of functional and technical problems in accordance with a specified severity and prioritization strategy.
  • Keep an eye on the production data integration procedures to make sure the necessary availability.
  • Upkeep of the knowledge repository.
  • During implementations, some flexibility in working hours is necessary.

Ben je het eerste aanspreekpunt van onze klanten om voornamelijk technische en IT-gerelateerde vragen te beantwoorden per telefoon, mail, web of post.

Registreer je aanvragen van de klanten in het ticketingsysteem en zorg je voor een professionele opvolging van de dossiers om zo een bevoorrechte partner van onze klanten te worden.

Hou je jezelf continu op de hoogte van de technische/systeem evoluties en ontwikkelingen van de processen en systemen binnen de organisatie, teneinde jouw kennis up-to-date te houden en informatie aan te kunnen bieden die gebaseerd is op geactualiseerde kennis.

Verzorg je mee de permanentie in een beurtsysteem voor onze klanten.

Word je als proces/systeem expert ook projectmatig betrokken bij de implementatie en opvolging van projecten om deze maximaal mee in goede banen te kunnen leiden vanuit het Technical Contact Center team voor de klant.

Aligneer je met andere departementen binnen de organisatie (zoals met Operations, IT, het Business Contact Center, de Account Managers, de Commerciële Advisors, het Customer admin team, Business Intelligence, Finance, Transport, etc) alsook met externe contacten indien nodig, om technische problemen en klachten mee te analyseren en mee te zoeken naar oplossingen voor de klant.

Verplaats je je in uitzonderlijke gevallen soms ook naar de locatie van de klant om het technisch probleem lokaal te bekijken of om extra toelichting te geven (hiervoor wordt een poolwagen ter beschikking gesteld) indien nodig en relevant.
