For a major medical company specialised in clinical research we are looking for a Facility Coordinator.

Provides general Facilities and site support to the Brussels Lab location, through the performance of assigned tasks related to facilities services and building maintenance.

Essential Functions

• Supports day-to-day Facilities operations at the GCL Brussels location, including but not limited to: day-to-day Facilities operations
• Acts as a back-up for the Receptionist
• Undertakes daily building checks and inspections and addresses issues
• Anticipates and responds to building or equipment maintenance tasks, including the completion of work requests, scheduled routine maintenance, and preventive maintenance and repairs
• Supervises contractors and the execution of planned maintenance and contracted services
• Assists with the ordering of supplies and management of inventories
• Performs document storage in line with SOP requirements
• Ensures that Facilities policies and procedures are followed
• Liaises with suppliers, contractors and Facilities management
• Acts as a point of contact for other departments
• Responds to facility-related emergencies as assigned
• Participates in the on-call rotational schedule for REES
• Supports Facilities project work where required
• Provides support with health and safety matters where needed

• Receive and evaluate 'ready to schedule' job packages from technical engineers.
• Create comprehensive schedules, assigning required skills, resources, and other needs.
• Manage the stage gate preparation process and develop specific schedules for distribution to the Technical Supervisors of the Fleet Intervention project.
• Track daily progress during execution and report on any corrective actions necessary to speed up tasks.
• Ensure timely initiation of tasks by coordinating safety inspections, site arrivals, and the availability of tools.
• Lead minor repair tasks in the absence of the project manager and coordinate with technical supervisors.

As a Propulsion System Expert, you will provide vital technical support for maintenance, troubleshooting, and enhancements of our fleet's propulsion systems and related components.You will create maintenance plans and work orders in our asset management system to ensure top-notch equipment reliability.Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders.
• Act as the main contact between suppliers, repair facilities, and internal stakeholders during work preparation.
• Stay updated on new developments in propulsion for our vessel types.
• Establish maintenance standards for propulsion equipment and related systems.
• Develop cost-effective repair standards for propulsion equipment and related systems.
• Offer technical input for FMEA and RCA conducted by our Reliability department.
• Ensure all work preparations prioritize safety.
