Jobomschrijving

Binnen het domein Business Insurance zijn we op zoek naar een Product manager Niet-Leven.Deze afdeling staat garant voor de ontwikkeling en uitbouw van innovatieve verzekeringsproducten afgestemd op klantennoden, voornamelijk uit het segment van kleine ondernemingen en zelfstandigen (met inbegrip van vrije beroepen).
Als Product Manager Niet-Leven werk je nieuwe productconcepten uit die afgestemd zijn op de behoeften van onze klanten.Daarbij houd je rekening met de beoogde rendabiliteit voor Belfius Insurance en de noden van de verschillende distributienetten.

De job in een notendop

Taken :

  • Het opvolgen van de verzekeringsbehoeften van onze doelsegmenten en het opsporen van nieuw te ontwikkelen opportuniteiten op de markt.
  • Proactief innoveren in bestaande producten en diensten of nieuwe producten en vervolgens de interne stakeholders van je nieuwe concepten overtuigen.
  • Evalueren van het succes van nieuwe producten.
  • Rentabiliteitsvoorwaarden van de contracten bepalen en opvolgen.
  • De rol van projectleider opnemen door de verschillende aspecten van de productontwikkeling en productimplementatie te coördineren (wettelijk kader, prijszetting, proces, productmarketing, opleiding, communicatie enz.).
  • Een jaarlijks actieplan voorstellen.
  • Aanbevelingen doen aan de distributienetten.
  • Het gamma promoten bij de personen die de distributiekanalen van Belfius Bank en DVV leiden.
  • Onderhouden van regelmatige contacten met verschillende stakeholders: operationele diensten, back-office afdelingen, bankagenten en verzekeringsconsulenten.
  • Daarnaast bouw je intern je netwerk uit binnen Belfius.

  • Develop demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and factors like seasonal shifts or promotional events.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure stock is available for allocations and address any potential supply disruptions.
  • Manage intake plans and budgets, monitoring spending within OTB parameters.
  • Support product launches, promotions, and range reviews by coordinating stock allocations with key dates.
  • Lead regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss forecasts, category changes, and provide KPI insights.
  • Work with internal teams and suppliers to ensure alignment with demand forecasts, resolving any potential supply issues.
  • Prepare and present reporting on KPIs to drive improvements in demand forecast accuracy.

Responsibility and tasks:

  • You are responsible for the coordination of projects & changes between different IT delivery teams (both development and infrastructure)
  • You will manage and report on all key project deliverables and milestones, including: project charter, project planning and resources, handover plan and strategy, coordination of IT assets during aftercare, post-project evaluation,
  • You coordinate with other project managers to identify and clarify any dependencies between project tasks
  • You will coordinate with IT Architecture to ensure that the proposed solution is in line with the architecture guidelines
  • You propose new ideas, methodologies and/or technologies to further improve the evolution of IT as a service provider.
  • You define, analyze and manage the project objectives and feasibility;
  • You get a clear insight into the business requirements (what needs to be done) and/or evaluate the impact for the business users.You coordinate the solution design (how it is done) in interaction with the IT Architect and the IT Application Development teams.
  • To realize the intended solution, you draw up a work break down plan.You tailor the plan to the various stakeholders.You follow up on the implementation of the plan.
  • You are responsible for the end-to-end solution in the various project phases and the transition from project mode to operational mode
  • During the closure of the project, you draw up "Lessons Learned" in consultation with the various stakeholders and communicate them to the departments involved;
  • You organize project meetings and steering committees and are responsible for setting up and distributing the meeting minutes.
  • In addition, you are also back up for a number of IT systems such as Orchestrator; You are also the point of contact for auditors, providing them with the requested information and guiding them through the audit process.
