Junior Researcher in Formulation Discovery

Job summary

As Junior researcher you are responsible for managing multiple research projects as well as problem solving of critical cases.

• You will formulate dispersions or emulsions based on knowledge gathered from literature and patent research
• You will organize the lab testing, reporting and knowledge sharing to the different stakeholders
• You will ensure that the safety and health aspects of your experiments are investigated, considered and applied

As a Senior Technical Research Specialist, you will provide technical and administrative support for ongoing research projects.Your focus will be on musculoskeletal modeling, predictive simulations, and clinically relevant movement analysis.

Your key responsibilities include:

• You are responsible for implementing new musculoskeletal modeling (including image- and population-based modeling) and predictive simulation workflows, as well as clinically applicable movement analysis workflows
• You provide technical support in setting up customized musculoskeletal modeling and clinically applicable movement analysis workflows and assist in training new researchers
• You liaise with relevant experts (also internationally) on advanced data analysis techniques dependent on the needs of the research projects.
• You provide technical support for activities related to ongoing research projects.
• You support the PI in writing and setting up technical frameworks and methods for research projects within the research group and with external collaborators.
• You provide data and technical management of research projects.This includes quality checks and backup of the data collected, modelling workflows, and results
• You support doctoral students in analyzing their research data and results and assist in writing related sections on technical and methodological details.
• You support doctoral students in setting up their research project, in terms of protocol and workflow development.
• You support master students in writing their master's thesis, focusing on protocol and workflow details, and data analysis.
• You support the PI with practical, hands-on educational activities and teaching within the faculty/department related to the technical and methodological aspects of the musculoskeletal modeling and simulation frameworks in the group

Als Industrie 4.0 Hardware (Machine & Research) Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor 3 prominente afdelingen binnen het Industrie 4.0 domein: Machine Sales, Support & Rollout en Research & Development.Je stuurt de dagdagelijkse werking van de Hardware Industrie 4.0 teams en volgt/stuurt de verschillende teams om de goede werking van het Hardware Industrie 4.0 team te borgen.Je hebt people-managementervaring en een affiniteit met machines, alsook klant georiënteerde visie.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden:

•  Je definieert de specificaties en de planning voor alle Hardware 4.0 Machine & Research projecten in onderling overleg met de verschillende betrokken afdelingen binnen het bedrijf en de Reynaers filialen.
• Je volgt de geplande projecten nauw op, zowel qua inhoud, qua timing als qua middelen; en neemt de nodige maatregelen in geval van problemen.
• Je biedt commerciële ondersteuning met je teams bij verkoop van machines in binnen- en buitenland.
• Je verzorgt workshops, presentaties en demo’s rond Machine gerelateerd automatisatie.
• Je verzorgt de nodige communicatie en dit met de interne en externe stakeholders.
• Je formuleert zelf voorstellen voor de opstart van nieuwe Research & Development projecten in functie van en voor de bedrijfs- strategie en de verdere ondersteuning naar interne Development Teams.
• Je selecteert en onderhandelt het contract met de machine-leveranciers.
• Je zorgt dat de nieuwste technologische ontwikkelingen bekend zijn binnen onze Reynaers Campus in Duffel (RAD) en dat de core-kennis op een redudante wijze opgebouwd wordt.
• Je rapporteert aan de Product & Services Development Team Manager.
